Jardeg Construction Ltd. is seeking an Instrument Technician Journeyperson to join our Project in Cold Lake at Imperial Oil Site.
This is a full-time position with 4 / 3 Schedule with 40 hours a week.
Instrument technicians:
- Install, maintain and repair the measuring and control devices used in industrial and commercial processing.
- Work with a wide variety of pneumatic, electronic and microcomputer devices used to measure and control pressure, flow, temperature, level, motion, force, and chemical composition.
- Be able to take directions, and receptive to training and mentoring
- Able to identify and work with various material components
- Tubing skills;
- Expert in pneumatic, electronic and micro-computer instrument operation
- Device identification and installation
- Read and comprehend drawings and specifications
- Journeyperson Certification and/or Interprovincial Red Seal
- Construction Safety Training Systems (CSTS 2020)
- WHMIS 2015
- Emergency First Aid
- H2S Alive
- Class 5 (Non-GDL) Driver's License and 3 years' Driver's Abstract
