We are looking for interns for the below Summer Student Contract Opportunities. Depending on your team assignment, here is a glimpse of what you will do here (In addition to other administrative duties, as assigned).
Underwriting, Commercial Lines
Manage the incoming requests from our brokers and distribute work to the underwriting team according to different levels of seniority and assigned roles.
Assemble and prepare output for mailing with the same day turnaround time.
Answer straightforward inquiries from brokers promptly and courteously.
Work closely to develop and maintain positive business partnerships with brokers and co-workers.
Claims
Prepare forms and correspondence to insurance clients, vendors and legal representatives.
Manage file storage and retrieval process for closed files.
Open new claims and assign appropriate claims adjusters.
Process payments on claim files and input data to support new claims intake and handling.
Provide support to Claims Representatives.
What you bring to the table:
Currently pursuing a Bachelor’s degree/college diploma
Available to work with us full-time, 35 hours per week, for Summer 2024 Term (May to August).
Must be an active student during their internship OR returning to school in Fall 2024 or Winter 2025.
