Job Description:Position- Interior Designer Location: Mirabel (Canada) Job Type: Fulltime Job Description: · Minimum (2-5) years of work experience in the Interiors Engineering field. · Knowledge on Interiors, Cabin systems Eng. an asset. · Bac of Eng. DEC or equivalent. · Familiar with the various disciplines of Aerospace such as design, Configuration Management. · Expertise in Catia V5-3D model, Drafting, assembly. (Comfortable with Eng. drawings) · Good Engineering Knowledge with 2 to 3 years of experience in Catia V5 and Enovia. · Exposure to Aircraft structures and systems. · Good knowledge of aerospace practices. · Experience in Engineering change management and configuration management (RFC, PCR) · Good knowledge of aircraft interior monuments (cabinets including Galleys, Lavs, Wardrobes, Bins, carpets, PSU, Emergency equipment’s + Placards) · Expertise in Installation, assembly, CDD, layout, LOPA, KIT drawings · Expertise in creation of NIEOs, in service KIT drawings · Change management & release process · RFC, PCR, Modsums, NIEOs · Product life cycle management through envoia/lca, Product structure · You have experience with the Bombardier Aerospace, or AIRBUS processes and standards. · You have a good command of MS Office and other databases. · You demonstrate professionalism and leadership. · Communication skills are very important for this position as you will be interacting daily with the customer and colleagues. Responsibilities 1. Create Development drawings like CDDs (Concept Definition Datasets), LOPA for Cabin Monuments, Accessories and SDDs for systems 2. Create and update Installation drawings of Seats, Cabin Interiors monuments and options management. 3. Create and update interface control drawings (WPICDS) for various configurations 4. Upload 3D models and drawings from supplier database and instantiate in enovia product structure to build DMU 5. Creation of MODSUM. EDRN and NIEO's for Interiors 6. Creation of PLMACTIONS, CATPART, SDD (As required) in ENOVIA and Catia for Interiors team 7. Review datasets and send for nomenclature review (Interiors). 8.
