OVERVIEW OF THE ROLE

We are currently seeking a skilled and bilingual Intermediate Full Stack .NET Developer to join our agile development team. The successful candidate will play a key role in designing, developing, and implementing various software components. You will have the opportunity to work on client-based projects, collaborating closely with our delivery and sales teams to deliver cutting-edge solutions to both new and existing customers.

WHAT YOU LL BE DOING IN THE ROLE:

  • Work with system design specifications to develop/code applications.
  • Maintain, review, and enhance existing applications.
  • Conduct system level testing and debugging.
  • Work with other departments with regards to requirements gathering and analysis.
  • Supporting technical documentation, progress updates, and knowledge transfer.
  • Schedules and estimates development tasks.
  • Participate in the different agile ceremonies of the development team (stand-up, kick-off, planning, presentation, and retrospective).
  • Communicating progress and identifying risks, impediments, and dependencies.

WHAT SKILLS / QUALIFICATIONS YOU LL NEED TO DO THE JOB:

  • Computer Science degree/diploma or equivalent work experience.
  • 2+ years of experience building web applications on the .NET framework, preferably in an Agile environment.
  • 2+ years of Experience with JavaScript framework (Ember.js, React, Vue.js or Angular).
  • 2+ years of experience with Entity Framework.
  • Experience with .NET Core, C#, MVC and Visual Studio.
  • Significant work experience with REST APIs
  • Significant work experience with SQL databases and MongoDB.
  • Experience with front-end technologies, including HTML, CSS and JavaScript.
  • Sustained experience working with Python.
  • Significant work experience with Git, Gitlab and Kubernetes/OpenShift.
  • Reasonable knowledge of design patterns commonly used in application development.
  • Written and spoken competence in French and English.
  • Proven analytical skills and experience with software development for complex projects.
  • Possess strong interpersonal skills that can establish and maintain strong working relationships with business stakeholders and project team members.
