ABOUT THE TEAM

The Public Affairs and Strategic Communications team leads and manages internal and external communications and the corporate citizenship approach for PSP Investments, working closely with key internal and external stakeholders. Our main objectives are to share who we are through our values, vision, activities and successes and also to keep our employees informed, connected, inspired, educated and entertained.

ABOUT YOUR ROLE

As an Intern, Public Relations & Communications, you’ll:
  • Participate in the development and implementation of communication and corporate citizenship plans
  • Develop multi-media communications products and creative assets
  • Provide support for a wide range of internal and external projects such as event, media releases, employee activities and investment-related initiatives
  • Contribute to media watch and support media relations
  • Research projects to support communication and corporate citizenship strategies
  • Draft documents required for the deployment of communication actions (scenarios, invitations, press kits, etc.)
  • Apply new brand standards to current and new communication materials and help build an image gallery
  • Participate in posting information to the company’s intranet and website

WHAT YOU’LL NEED
  • Enrolled in a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree, or post-graduate diploma or certificate, in Communications, Public Relations, Marketing, Business or a related field
  • Familiarity with ESG, Corporate Citizenship and social responsibility topics
  • Advanced knowledge of MS Office (PowerPoint, Excel, Word)
  • Comprehension of visual aesthetics for application of both print and web projects
  • Ability to navigate a fast-paced environment with a high level of autonomy
  • Ability to independently manage simultaneous projects in an organized and timely manner
  • Ability to effectively work with an integrated communications team
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills, both in French and English, with the ability to understand and effectively deliver projects for clients
  • Experience with Photoshop and InDesign, an asset
  • Must return to studies after the internship or the internship must be part of your curriculum
