Investment Governance Senior Analyst: This role plays a critical part in the company’s ability to centrally manage, organize, track and control all capital investments (>1400 investments and $5B) that comprise of CTC 5 year capital plan for the enterprise. This individual is responsible for the development and maintenance of the investment strategic hierarchy and supports the execution of governance processes, application of compliance rules, status reporting and related stakeholder support (~150 Work Owners) associated with investment planning, funding approval compliance and related reporting.

What you’ll do

  • Accountable for first-line support to the ~150 Work Owners, ~ 50 Portfolio Managers, ~ 20 Portfolio Owners/ Designates (senior leaders) FP&A teams and Delivery teams on the Enterprise Investment Planning (EIP) processes for initial plan submission, investment plan approval, and subsequent funding approvals and associated compliance status and governance through the investment lifecycle

  • Responsible for designing and maintaining the compliance process and reports to produce a monthly detailed analysis of the investment portfolio line items for determination and consistent application of applicable compliance rules and related governance based on investment size, and work status throughout the lifecycle of the investments culminating in monthly compliance reporting and appropriate escalations to senior leadership for approvals or compliance remediation.

  • Accountable for on-going maintenance, updates and detailed monthly reconciliations with other systems (Wave, Peoplesoft, Iris) to ensure data integrity and accuracy underlying the EIP reporting.

  • Provides support relating to enhancements to the EIP process in Planview including participation in system design and configuration, solution development, testing and initial data setup

  • Building and maintaining the hierarchy in Planview that houses the ~1400 initiatives in CTC’s 5 year capital plan and maintaining the on-going attribute management and data integrity underlying the EIP governance and reporting processes

  • Responsible for development and delivery of end user training on both process and use of Planview as applicable to the roles of Portfolio Manager, Work Owner, FP&A and Delivery teams in the execution of the EIP process

  • Mentoring junior members of the team, reviewing data quality and directing and overseeing daily activities for completeness and accuracy

What you bring

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Management or related field or equivalent experience required

  • Must be a creative problem solver, flexible, proactive and have the ability to work in a fast paced, rapidly changing environment

  • Ability to act independently with structured problem solving activities

  • Highly detail oriented with affinity for data management

  • Strong interpersonal & communication skills, both oral and written, with an orientation toward customer service, facilitation, training and problem resolution

  • Ability to manage high volumes of work, and multi-task/prioritize across multiple deliverables and accountabilities

  • Advanced understanding of project and corporate finance as well as knowledge of project/PMO processes.

  • Strong business case and writing skills.

  • Experience in PlanView is preferred

  • Advanced MS Office Excel skills and proficient with all MS office suite
