Niro Technologies is seeking a skilled and motivated IT Support Consultant to join our team on a flexible, part time basis, with the possibility of gaining full time hours. This is a unique role where you would be responsible for providing end-user support, troubleshooting/resolving technical issues, setting up computer systems, as well as performing manual labor tasks such as pulling/terminating cables, running conduit and installing hardware.
We are looking for a team player with excellent communication and problem-solving skills. Self-motivation and a strong sense of initiative is also required as this position provides the opportunity to work from home and the autonomy to make your own schedule for out of town jobs.
Responsibilities:
- Provide end-user support for multiple clients
- Perform hardware installations, such as wireless devices and security cameras
- Setup networks and network devices
- Respond to client requests in a timely manner
- Support workstations running Windows 10 or greater
- Provide maintenance and setup Linux servers
Requirements:
Experience in diagnosing and resolving technical issues
Excellent communication and problem-solving skills
Ability to work effectively with team members and end users
Valid driver's license and willingness to travel within Saskatchewan
Experience with power tools
Willingness to learn and adapt
Organized, motivated and respectful
