Our Project Engineering group are looking to add a Junior Project Engineer to their growing team!
What will you be doing?- Steward multidiscipline projects through the entire project lifecycle.
- Responsible for compliance, maintenance/monitoring, and quality of project plans, schedules, progress, budgets, and expenditures.
- Ensure projects adhere to internal governance procedures as well as client specific contract requirements and initiating any change management processes as necessary.
- Champion and promote health, safety, environmental, quality, and risk management in all projects.
- Organize client project kickoff meetings, technical resolution discussions, and post project evaluations to support continuous improvement.
- Identify issues that may prevent successful completion of projects, collaborate internally/externally to establish mitigative measures using alternative solutions.
- Collaborate internally to support deliverables required for project execution including project controls, procurement, contract management and construction.
- Engage with Clients and customers to understand and interpret their needs, proposing and developing alternative solutions identifying value-producing opportunities in their best interests.
- Bachelor's Degree in Engineering with a minimum of 3 years' experience in an engineering or construction environment.
- An aptitude/passion for digital technologies.
- Ability to work within multi-discipline projects and teams.
- Ability to plan and organize, set objectives; manage time effectively; plan activities and projects in advance with the agility to pivot under changing circumstances.
- Understanding of management of change (MOC) processes and project controls
- Knowledge of applicable codes, policies, standards, regulatory requirements, and best practices.
- Excellent computer skills with knowledge of design and visualization software.
- Project Management Professional (PMP) designation would be an asset.
