Job Description

The Physical Security Specialists will report to the Team Leader, Personnel Security and will be responsible for the following tasks which may include, but not be limited to:

• Conducting personnel security screening and security clearance activities;
• Creating and providing ID card and access control services;
• Security file management (both hard and electronic copy);
• Providing security administrative support;
• Monitoring, assessing, prioritizing, triaging and assigning Security tickets in a ticket management software;
• Participation in weekly Security Operations team meetings;
• Participation in other assigned security-related projects and tasks not specified above.

Qualifications

• Minimum of two years of experience assisting a senior resource conducting tasks and activities related to Physical Security.
• Experience conducting at least 2 out of 5of the following tasks:

• Assisting with the conduct of threat and risk assessments and researching or drafting recommendations related to physical security;
• Participating in the development of physical security risk management strategies;
• Contributing to the conduct of maturity analysis of physical security controls;
• Supporting role in the Planning and Conducting administrative investigations into the suspected theft or loss of corporate assets; and
• Researching, developing and/or updating Policy Instruments or other supporting documentation related to Physical Security.

Additional Information

• Must be able to obtain and maintain a government clearance
• Required to work according to the client’s Hybrid Workplace Model, and some work will need to be performed onsite (in person) at the client’s offices on a regular basis.
