Clean Harbors is looking for Labourer - Confined Space Specialist to join our turnaround team on a temporary basis based out of Alberta! (Rotational opportunities for all candidates across Canada).
This position requires the candidate to safely perform labor tasks including, but not limited to - confined space entry working in vessels or tanks, rigging in and out, working at heights, high-pressure water blasting up to 40k PSI and assisting with job site preparation.
You would be supporting projects throughout Alberta, but out-of-province travel may be required. Availability is necessary for training starting February with projects spanning March through June 2023 with potential to join our team in a permanent role.

Key Responsibilities:
- Ensuring that Health and Safety is the number one priority by complying with all safe work practices, policies, and processes and acting in a safe manner at all times;
- Operates and stages various units (i.e., High-Pressure, Hydrovac, Combo and Vac);
- Work in confined spaces such as vessels and tanks under supplied air;
- Perform general labor duties as assigned, including the use of hand tools, power tools, and high-pressure water blasting equipment with PSI up to 40k;
- Work as part of a team with Clients, Co-workers & Supervisors.
What does it take to work for Clean Harbors?
- Class 5 Drivers License preferred;
- Safety Tickets preferred (i.e., H2S Alive, CSO, Fall Protection, Confined Space Entry);
- Must be willing to work in Confined Space;
- Previous Vacuum Truck and/or High-Pressure unit operating experience is an asset;
- Previous labor-intensive experience;
- Willing to travel for extended periods and work 10–12-hour shifts (accommodations provided);
- Willing to work night shifts when required;
Previous shutdown/turnaround experience is an asset.
