How You Will Contribute:

Reporting to the Director, Learning and Development as a Learning Business Partner, you will act as a strategic partner to the Blue Planet and Global Sales Engineering businesses, guiding business leaders to develop a learning and development roadmap that will support their business initiatives, goals, and strategic priorities.
  • You will be responsible for the creation of technical and professional 70/20/10 model learning programs for both teams and individuals aligned with the skills strategy for the business, measuring outcomes, and reporting out success and opportunities for improvement while performing certain tactical elements of Learning & Development.
  • You will ensure that the methods and tools used are future-fit where there will be identified learning pathways for our current and future workforce.
  • You will ensure the learning programs are planned, driven, and measured against pre-defined goals and results and effectively reported to key leaders with the intent to continuously evolve how we deliver learning programs and present our data.
  • You will ensure that there are up to date functional new hire onboarding curriculums for the business functions you support.
  • You will remain current on trends, practices, and strategies within the L&D industry, incorporating these learnings into learning programs and initiatives.

The Must Haves:
  • Bachelor's Degree in Business, Organizational Development or Adult Education, OR relevant work experience managing large-scale learning projects.
  • Knowledge of learning & development concepts, applying them to various methods of delivery, and measuring outcomes.
Assets:
  • Business management experience.
  • Experience working in the Telecommunications Industry with teams in similar structures (Sales Engineering or Software).
  • Project management experience
