We are seeking experienced Licensed Practical Nurses to join the team at our Elder's Facility in Iqaluit as well as our pediatric facility in Chesterfield Inlet. The successful candidate will be responsible for performing various medical tasks including preparing patients for tests, assisting with transfers and administering medications. The ideal candidate is comfortable working with patients directly, paying attention to detail and communicating clearly.
Responsibilities:
- Accurately monitor patient vitals.
- Monitor and report any changes in patient condition to the doctor.
- Work as part of a team.
- Handle necessary paperwork.
- Work with patients with various conditions, illnesses, drug therapies, and allergies.
- Be compassionate to patients and family members.
- Ability to unlearn biases and work with Inuit Communities
Job Types: Full-time, Part-time, Permanent
Salary: $35.00-$50.00 per hour

- AEC / DEP or Skilled Trade Certificate (required)
