Lubricant Delivery Driver - Transit Lubricants

Transit Lubricants, along with its affiliate companies, Transit Petroleum & Hogg Fuel & Supply Limited, is an independently owned and operated distribution company located in Kitchener, Ontario. Our collective companies have been active members of many communities in Ontario for over 140 years. Through our fleet of trucks and plants in Waterloo Region, we supply commercial fuel, lubricants, and ready-mix concrete. We are currently recruiting for full-time, AZ or DZ truck driver/operators, to deliver bulk and packaged lubricants to our customers.

The successful candidate will be responsible for:

• Above all else, the safe transport and delivery of lubricant products!
• Loading bulk and packaged lubricants from our terminal in Kitchener, and delivering to our customers throughout southern Ontario
• Providing the highest level of customer service possible
• Maintaining the vehicle in a clean and organized fashion
• Working closely with our dispatch and warehouse team to ensure efficient operations
• Conducting circle-checks and using our ELD software

Qualifications of the ideal candidate include:

• Valid DZ or AZ commercial licence
• Minimum of 2 years of safe commercial driving experience with a clean CVOR
• Minimum of 1 year hauling bulk liquids would be an asset, but willing to train the right person
• Willingness to learn on the job from other experienced Operators
• Ability to operate a manual transmission
• The ability to lift a minimum of 50 pounds
• Excellent written and oral communication skills, including computer acumen and basic mathematics abilities
• Ability to interact with customers and maintain a professional appearance and attitude at all times
• Comfortable driving and working outdoors in all four seasons
