Magazine Deliveries - by boat, contract position

Contract Boat couriers needed

Dockside Magazine is looking for cottagers or local residents who would like to spend time on the water, boating and earning some money.

We have contracts available in Muskoka to deliver magazines directly to docks on several lakes across the region

Contracts will vary in number of deliveries and time depending on which area you take on.

Deliveries would start mid June

You will be responsible for your own boat, insurance, gas and any other expenses. We will provide magazines sealed in waterproof bags, and will provide training in our delivery system. Magazines are to be delivered within 7 days or receiving them (pending on quantity and areas - weather pending)

We’re looking for hard-working people who can work independently, but who are also personable, organized and available around each of our publication dates

Strong time management and organizational skills are a must. You must have a valid Pleasure Boat Operator’s Certificate.

Physical Job Requirements: fine motor skills, bending, stooping, reaching, twisting, lifting, pushing, pulling and moving items. Requires the ability to move around and maneuver heavy bulky materials on a daily basis, and lift items in and out of a boat.
