Maintenance and Repair Supervisor

Our company provides field equipment, service, and support to a variety of industries in western Canada. As our business has grown, so has the teamwork and dedication of our experienced staff. We are currently seeking a new team member, to help keep our growth sustainable by leading our team as a Maintenance and Repair Supervisor. This position will be crucial in ensuring our processes function properly to provide best in class equipment and services to our industrial clients in the field.
Key Responsibilities:
· Lead the day to day HSE program in our facility. Lead by example, by observation, and by providing corrective actions.
· Lead the shop team (10 individuals) in their activities. Be present and helpful.
· Work closely with management, sales, and dispatch teams to prioritize and execute service and repairs efficiently and effectively.
· Implement equipment inspection, maintenance, and repair processes through our mobile workforce platform.
· Review completed work and paperwork daily. Escalate decisions as required.
· Supervise and mentor staff to build a stronger team.
Requirements:
· Strong and diverse experience with equipment maintenance and repair (diesel, electric, and mechanical equipment)
· Strong leadership qualities and ability to gain respect of diverse team
· Self motivated with strong interpersonal, communication and organizational skills
· High standards for safety, workmanship, and cleanliness
· Valid and clean Class 5 Driver’s License
