Join the fast based team environment at Scotiabank as a Manager, Digital Analytics. The incumbent is a tagging, data analytics and insight specialist supporting digital marketing and banking initiatives across multiple channels and platforms to help drive engagement, leads, sales and loyalty. The successful candidate will create and tell comprehensive stories about how users behave using data. You’ll deliver analytics projects of moderate complexity, partnering with other analysts and cross-functional teams along the way. Through ongoing analysis, you will gain actionable insights that better address the business goals of our internal stakeholders. The successful candidate will have the opportunity to collaborate with analytics, marketing and digital banking squads to help optimize the efficiency and effectiveness of digital marketing campaigns, digital banking experience, and product strategy.
Is this role right for you? In this role, you will: 
-Develop Looker Studio dashboard in scrum setting to iteratively translate business requirement in visualization and insights  
-Work with senior stakeholder to perform on-demand product/Digital Analytics request
-Prepare detailed documentation to outline data sources, analysis, and algorithms used and developed
-Present results to business line stakeholders and help implement real world data-driven changes
-Analyze and interpret clickstream data, providing insights to inform digital banking experience optimization and campaign strategies. 
-Work with technical analytics resources to ensure tracking code is consistently applied and managed
-Be flexible and thrive in an evolving environment
-Adapt to change quickly and adjust work accordingly in a positive manner
-Proactively initiate, research, and perform data analysis
-Provide ad hoc reports to internal stakeholders on web usage, user engagement, and behavioral analytics on websites and email campaigns
-Identify patterns and trends in marketing results and online activity and report on findings
-Analyze digital marketing data and user behavior patterns to provide valuable insight and to optimize user engagement 
-Monitor site and campaign traffic and determine cross-promotion, cross-sell and lead-gen opportunities
-Assist in the development and documentation of best practices for improving operational efficiencies within the Digital Analytics team
-Familiarity with tag audit tools like ObservePoint and Tag Inspector
-Identify bugs and erroneous analytics tags and provide solutions to development team
-Work with Digital Channels to advise on our continually evolving digital strategy
-Ability to provide clear and concise technical direction, expertise, advice and tracking solutions to frontend developers, backend developers, and analytic teams to build tools for measurement of client platforms
 
Do you have the skills that will enable you to succeed in this role?  We’d love to work with you if you have experience with:
-3+ years of proven working experience as a Digital Analyst, Digital Marketing Analyst, or similar role
-3+ years of experience with data segmentation and reporting within Google Analytics and/or Adobe Analytics
-Experience with Google Tag Manager including setting up and configuring accounts for new websites and goals
-Working knowledge of GA4
-Proficient in building dashboards leveraging and blending data from multiple data sources, as well as extracting data from data environments such as BigQuery
-2+ years of working experience with SQL and relational databases technologies/concepts for both
-Experience with Looker Studio and/or Power BI
-Expertise in Google Analytics implementation using Google Tag Manager
-2+ years of experience programming in Python or Spark
-2+ years of experience with statistical analysis, machine learning and Digital Analytics (e.g., hypothesis driven analysis, and fraud/anomaly detection)
-Experience working with digital advertising platforms and search engine optimization is an asset
-Excellent written and verbal communication skills
-Ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously
-Proven ability to work independently and with other groups in a professional and productive manner
-Demonstrated ability to work within tight deadlines
-Excellent analytical, logical, and organizational skills
