Your duties :
We are looking for a Manufacturing Supervisor for a manufacturing company in Laval. Position 40 hours per week, permanent contract, full-time, day shift.
Reporting to the Production Manager, you will be in charge of the following tasks:
- Supervise a team of 10 to 15 manufacturing technicians, press operators and deburring operators
- Collect, analyze and report on production KPI'S
- Ensure compliance with production schedules, modify or improve manufacturing processes and methods
- Be responsible for tooling and equipment (purchasing, upgrading)
- Ensure compliance with quality standards
- Ensure compliance with OHS rules
- Supervise, support, train and evaluate manufacturing personnel
- Propose improvements to manufacturing processes, collaborate with continuous improvement
- Collaborate with quality, parts warehouse and assembly
- Other related tasks
Your professional skills :
- Experience in industrial project management or manufacturing
- Experience in a machine shop or manufacturing environment
- Field supervisor, willing to be a hands-on supervisor
- Demonstrate teaching and leadership skills
Your profile :
- BAC or DEC in machining or Industrial Engineering
- 3 to 5 years' experience in production team supervision or Industrial Engineering
- Knowledge of Solidworks and Autocad (an asset)
- Salary: 65-85k + Bonus
- 3 weeks vacation + RRSP
