A New Montreal-based fashion company is seeking an experienced Marketing Director.
The company focuses on high quality garment, luxury streetwear, wellness products and home accessories.
Main Objective
The Marketing Lead is responsible for deploying Place of Elms’ digital & brand vision to its target market. Execute a strategy to accelerate growth, visibility and innovation within all digital channels.
Job Responsibilities
Included but are not limited to the following:
Paid / Social Media
- Own digital growth and brand media including Paid Search, Paid Social, & Display
- Design, implement & own the brand’s paid media budget
- Design and implement visual ads & posting schedule
- Create yearly deployment calendar
- Knowledge of influencer marketing and ambassador programs (recruitment, talent search and retention strategies)
- Analyze campaign performance to optimize, and get insights for future campaign planning and KPIs setting
- Proactively monitor competitors campaigns
- On-going innovation to explore new channels for digital and social media growth
Reporting & Analytics
- Set goals, track performance, and continuously optimize marketing channels to meet acquisition, sales & retention goals for both paid media & site traffic
- Develop strategic insights & present to management
- Organic Channels & Localized Content Development
- Manage content creation for local paid & organic channels with external partners and external PR & communications teams
- Own local email marketing strategy, calendar, and content development in collaboration with e-commerce, CRM platforms
- Produce copy and adapt assets for marketing channels, including paid media, email marketing & organic social media
- Own and track budgets & invoicing in collaboration with local finance team
Requirements
- 8 years of experience in Digital & Traditional Brand marketing
- Excellent leadership, communication, and decision-making skills
- Successful track record in senior marketing roles and creating marketing campaigns
- Strong analytical skills and ability to adapt large quantities of data to actionable insights
- Highly organized, proactive, and resourceful with strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Excellent budget management skills
- Strategic knowledge of luxury fashion landscape, brand building & identity creation
- Self-motivated, results oriented, performance driven and able to work under pressure on tight deadlines
- Able to work independently and collaboratively with cross functional team
- Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office, Slack, Marketing CRMs (Hubspot / Email Marketing & other automation tools), and Social Media PPC tools (adwords, Fb ads, IG Ads, Pinterest etc.)
