Job description

A bilingual (English-French) Master data and Accounts Receivable Analyst is needed for a company based in the southwest of the island of Montreal. We are looking for a Master data and Accounts Receivable Analyst to join our Finance team. As a Master data and Accounts Receivable Analyst, your major role will be to maintain and ensure the accuracy and consistency of customer Master Data, minimize the risk of losses and maximize the collection of Accounts Receivable.
The Master data and Accounts Receivable Analyst knows his business inside out, and is able to understand and dealing a variety of data. He has a visionary mind and knows how to assess risks.
Schedule:

Responsibilities The Master data and Accounts Receivable Analyst's responsibilities include:
- Activate new accounts and process new customers using SAP, Salesforce, Paradox and Excel.
- Update customer Master Data while maintaining data integrity.
- Ensure that application forms are completed correctly, taking into account the specific tax laws of each province.
- Verify customers' bankruptcy and previous ownership history with ITL through banking and business references.
- Collect returned payments for overdue accounts using risk assessment.
- Forward overdue accounts to our third-party collection agency.
- Support the release of orders flagged in the system by credit validation checks.
- Ongoing contact with team members, account representatives and customers regarding investigations. Qualifications The Master data and Accounts Receivable Analyst must:
- Bachelor's degree in finance, accounting or related field - Attention to detail - Flexible and able to multi-task and prioritize
- Ability to handle and analyze large amounts of data - Problem-solving and analytical skills - Excellent communication skills in both English and French
