Mechanical Technician

Job responsibilities:

• Read build prints and verify the parts required prior to assembly
• Maintain and service all equipment when necessary
• Assemble components accurately, thoroughly and quickly to approved specifications
• Build machines according to the specifications
• Utilize hand tools
• Perform quality work checks to ensure the product meets quality standards
• Rework and/or repair assembled equipment and products according to engineering specification
• Maintain a clean and safe work area
• Follow appropriate procedures for filing out Engineering Change Request Forms

• Personal tools required
• Ability to read and follow instructions
• Comprehend mechanical drawings
• Problem Solving Skills and Decision-Making Ability
• Punctual, meticulous and reliable
• Courteous manners with fellow employees and customers
• Possess machining skills
• Ability to operate hand & power tools
• Knowledge in machining at assembly, general assembly of equipment, and machine set up
• Ability to travel and perform customer service calls.
