Description
The Saskatchewan Literacy Network is a not-for-profit, charitable provincial organization. We advance literacy in the province through resources, training, and ongoing supports for literacy practitioners. We are hiring an Online Learning Specialist to join our team, up to full-time (may be part-time, if wished; we would also consider contract work for the right candidate), for a six-month term.
This position will collaborate on the redesign of resources and training available online for literacy practitioners. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in online education and related platforms. This person will also have knowledge and/or experience in adult learning and instructional design principles as they relate to Online Learning, with a focus on clear language and inclusive design for increased accessibility.
The success of this position relies on an individual's knowledge and experience with Online Learning, related adult education and instructional design principles. This position works in a team with the SLN staff, enhancing access for adult literacy, family literacy, and community literacy fields in Saskatchewan, and reports directly to the Executive Director.
This position location is flexible. You may work either from our Saskatoon office or remotely from any location within the province. The SLN will cover the costs of any trips we require you to make, from within Saskatchewan to the Saskatoon office.
