Simplot Grower Solutions will be hiring a self-motivated, team-orientated individual for the position of Operations Support at our Milden retail location.
This full-time position offers a competitive compensation package consisting of competitive base wage, holidays and a benefits package.
Responsibilities
The Operations Support is responsible for working with the Location Manager to assist in everyday operations and provide excellent customer service to our customers. The Operations Support must have the ability to assist our team in continuing business development, and providing high quality customer satisfaction. This will be done while building relationships within our industry and ensuring the integration of strategic plans with company operations. Primary duties include:
Manage and oversee the daily operations the warehouse.
Ensure customer service is always a priority and exceeds our customers expectations.
Assist in the everyday office administration and record keeping.
Keep current with industry trends and any changes to government regulations regarding the agriculture industry.
Qualifications
The successful candidate should have a High School diploma, G.E.D. or equivalent. A post-secondary diploma or degree in agronomy or business is preferred, but not necessary. Applicants must have the ability to work independently, while also being a team player. Exceptional customer service skills and the ability to foster long lasting relationships with our customers is essential. A high level of integrity, confidentially, and accountability is required for this role. Strong English communication skills are essential. Applicants must have a valid Class 5 Drivers Licence. Additionally, candidates would benefit from:
Class 1A Licence, or willing to obtain.
Knowledge of warehouse management.
Sound analytical thinking, planning, prioritization, and execution skills.
