Requirements
- Self-motivated and driven to exceed goals and expectations
- Strong organizational, time-management and prioritization skills as well as solid analytical and problem solving abilities
- Excellent verbal and written communication, interpersonal and presentation skills and the ability to establish and develop strong relations with customers
Specific qualifications include
- Post-secondary education in business OR marketing (an asset)
- Minimum three years of business to consumer sales
- Proven track record of success
- Strong relationship-building skills
- Basic PC computer proficiency
- Flexibility to work days, evenings and some weekends
- Prior experience in HVAC is not required
Responsibilities
As an Outside Sales Advisor you will be rewarded daily, the selling cycle is shorter and you will be talking directly to the decision makers, not the gate-keepers. You will have full control of your earnings! This is a commission based opportunity, you are paid for performance, however when you are working in the showroom you will recieve an hourly rate of $25 per hour and 8% commission on sales.
Your specific duties as an Outside Sales Advisor/Fireplace Sales will include
HCA:
Hours: Run leads Wednesday to Friday (during the day).
- Engaging new, current and previous customers with solutions for their home comfort needs
- Helping homeowners save money on utilities and future repairs
- Conduct follow up calls to ensure 100% satisfaction and generate a referral base
- Attaining sales goals at or above quota revenue
Showroom Fireplace Sales:
Hours: Wednesday to Friday (4pm to 8pm and Saurday 10am to 4pm)
Do you have a Commitment to Service Excellence, are you consistent, caring and
- ·Greet and attend to customers
- Provide information, pricing and literature on fireplaces, stove & Big Green Egg units and accessories
- Schedule site visit with a technician to gather information, materials needed and confirm installation of fireplaces and stoves
- Source availability on all fireplace/stove units requested for purchase.
- Process payment on sales
- Ensure brochure racks on showroom floor are full
- Inventory control and stock
- Ensure daily cleanliness of showroom floor
- Replenish stock and floor room accessories
Education/Experience/Skills
· Post-secondary education (asset).
· Experience with sales or sales prospecting in a retail setting
· Strong interpersonal, customer relations and problem solving skills and the proven ability to effectively organize tasks and manage time.
· PC literacy
