The Opportunity:
This is an excellent opportunity for a motivated person looking to develop their knowledge and skills, take on the responsibility of a leadership role and move your career forward. The Overnight Supervisor is responsible for supervising the overnight activities at the plant. Responsible for the development, implementation, execution, and evaluation of the plant sanitation program. He/she must ensure all overnight activities are executed in compliance with GMPs, Safety, WHMIS, HACCP, CFIA and Maple Leaf Foods Corporate standards.

Snapshot of a Day-in-the-Life:
Manage, motivate, and provide direct leadership to the contract sanitation staff.
Make observations, track, and trend metrics for continuous improvement.
Manage operating budget, inventory, and ordering.
Manage program documentation and training.
Work with other functional leaders and key stakeholders to establish priorities, schedule work and communicate needs of overnight shift.
Support and promote the company’s health and safety program.
Other responsibilities as required.

What You’ll Bring:
Must be able to work midnight shift – some flexibility with specific hours.
Aptitude for continuous learning.
Able to manage and build a team.
Detail and results oriented.
Very strong interpersonal and communication skills
Proficient in MS Office tools (Excel and Word).
Knowledge or experience with any of the following are considered an asset:
HACCP, GMP, WHMIS, First Aid, Food Safety, Basic Food Microbiology, Sanitation, Lock Out and Tag Out, and Health and Safety
