Job Overview:
As a Payroll Administrator, you will play a pivotal role in managing the day-to-day operations related to payroll, benefits, and people administration duties for our North American region. Your diligence and expertise with solid understanding of both US and Canada payroll regulations will be instrumental in ensuring accurate and efficient Payroll and benefit processing.

Key Duties and Responsibilities:
Prepare North America Semi-Monthly payroll accurately and in accordance with applicable payroll laws and regulations ensuring accuracy and timeliness.
In coordination with your People Operations Manager, conduct review and finalize payroll processing.
In coordination with your People Operations Manager, conduct pre and post payroll audits to guarantee accuracy of payments and internal control compliance.
Continuous review and analyse of current payroll processes, recommending improvements and documentation of best practices.
Administrate employee benefits programs, including health insurance and retirement plans.
Stay informed about changes in employment laws and regulations in North America
Continuous data management utilizing HRIS (Human Resources Information System) to input and maintain employee data.
Maintain accuracy of employee files
Assist with development and maintenance of Payroll/HR policies and procedures.
Build strong partnerships with customers by delivering superior service.
Contribute to Payroll and benefit related projects as required.
Perform other duties as assigned by the People Operations Manager
Support and process all contractual changes both in systems and with documentation to the employee.
Manage the ad-hoc query portal, our ‘People Portal’ in a timely and efficient manner.

Preferred Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in human resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
Payroll Certification with minimal 3-5 years of experience in payroll, benefits, and people administration or working towards the Certification.
Strong knowledge of US and Canada payroll regulations is essential.
Demonstrate ability to quickly adapt to changing priorities.
Excellent communication skills to engage with stakeholders.
Superior time management and multi tasking abilities
Detailed oriented with exceptional organizational, problem-solving, and analytical skills.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
Experience using HR/Payroll software such as Nethris, Insperity, Justworks and Hibob is a plus.
Prominent level of discretion when managing highly confidential information
Self motivated and can work independently with minimal supervision.
