Pet Sitter- Opening Shift M-F

```Duties:```
- Must be able to supervise and maintain control of a pack of 5-15 dogs

- Check in dogs using point of sale software, gathering accurate information and details about the pet

- Provide care and attention to pets in the absence of their owners
- Follow specific instructions provided by pet owners and DogGos Managment team
- Engage in playtime activities to ensure their physical and mental well-being
- Clean Kennels, and other pet areas to maintain a clean and sanitary environment
- Monitor pets for any signs of illness or distress and report any concerns to the owner
- Administer basic first aid if necessary,
- Maintain accurate records of each visit, including feeding times, medication administration, and any notable observations

- Provide basic training to the dogs (sit,stay,take,leave)

- Feed dogs following instructions provided by owner

- Excellent customer service skills to provide a positive experience for both pets and their owners
- Knowledge of basic pet care and behavior to ensure the safety and well-being of the animals
- Strong communication skills to effectively communicate with pet owners and address any concerns or questions

- Critical Thinking the ability to analyze and react in stressful situations.
- Ability to remain calm and composed in stressful situations, such as dealing with anxious pets
- Attention to detail to follow specific instructions provided by pet owners, and management accurately

-WHMIS - Knowledge of cleaning supplies and the importance or following labels

As a Dog care provider at DogGos, you will play a crucial role in providing care and companionship to peoples dogs. Your responsibilities will include feeding, exercising, engaging with , and monitoring the well-being of the animals under your care. Additionally, you will need to be able to apply critical thinking and react accordingly in a fast paced environment provide excellent customer service to ensure a positive experience for both pets and their owners. Salary: From $15.00 per hour

Expected hours: 20 – 30 per week
