Responsibilities:
- Provide direct patient care under the supervision of a physician
- Conduct comprehensive physical examinations and medical histories
- Order and interpret diagnostic tests, such as lab work and imaging studies
- Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by the physician
- Document patient encounters and maintain accurate electronic medical records (EMR)
- Collaborate with healthcare team members to develop and implement patient care plans
- Educate patients and their families on healthcare management and preventive measures
- Participate in research activities and stay updated on current medical advancements
- Perform phlebotomy and collect specimens for laboratory testing
Requirements:
- Valid Physician Assistant license in [state/region]
- Graduation from an accredited Physician Assistant program
- Experience working in a medical office, hospital, or home care setting preferred
- Proficient in using electronic medical record (EMR) systems, such as Epic
- Strong knowledge of medical terminology and procedures
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a healthcare team
- Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills
