Purchase Order Clerk

Our client, a leader in the fleet management industry, is looking for a Purchase Order Clerk to join their team in the Toronto are on a contract basis.

**This position starts on a 3 month contract that has the opportunity for extension and to move into a permanent role**

Description:

Responsibilities for Role

• Create PO’s in SAP and input required vendor information to facilitate processing of vendor invoices against those PO’s
• Work directly with vendor and clients business contacts to ensure information entered is accurate
• Take orders with detail and accuracy and input into system to be processed in a timely manner
• Resolve any issues that arise with customer orders including changes, cancellations, or discrepancies
• Maintain accurate data entry records and ensure the order processing system is updated in real-time.

Additional Skills & Qualifications:

Qualifications/Skills

1) 1-2 Years working in a procurement/PO Clerk position

2) 1+ years of SAP experience (familiar with nomenclature such as cost centres, profit centres)

3) Great communication & organizational skills

NICE TO HAVES:

• prior experience in the auto finance/equipment leasing industry
