Job description

Established Residential Property Management Company in South Surrey, with over 30 years of providing excellent customer service, is currently recruiting a full-time Rental Building Administrator to join our team.

The Rental Building Administrator will be a member of the Office Team collaborating with Managing Broker, Property Manager, Building Manager, Office Staff, and Contractors to facilitate requirements for residential rental-purpose buildings.

Responsibilities consist of, but are not limited, to:

· Accurately posting of vendor invoices and processing of rental payments, 10-day notices, budgets to assist Accounting Department.

· Facilitate scheduling of annual building maintenance, including but not limited to annual maintenance, elevators, fire safety checks, security features, cleaning services, exterior window/building cleaning, parkade maintenance, landscaping, snow removal and all aspects of buildings maintenance.

· Participates in meetings for planning, budgeting, scheduling of all trades and building projects and requirements.

· Responsible for administrative role (letters) in dealing with the tenant complaints and handling and resolving any issues caused by tenant(s) or their guests (letters approved by Property Manager) that may have a negative effect of other tenants, or the building.

Qualifications and Experience:

· Strong accounting knowledge with post-secondary education and/or 2-3 years work-related experience.

· Proficient in Excel

· Proficient English communication skills, both written and oral.

· Ability to work independently with confidence, and a take charge attitude.

· Basic knowledge in residential plumbing, HVAC and electrical systems to provide trouble-shooting tips and/or assign appropriate contractor for service.

· Ability to multi-task, detail oriented with accuracy, and strong organizational skills.

· Able to collaborate and share ideas with others in team environment with a professional attitude.

Hours: Full-time (35 hours) Monday-Friday 9AM-4:30PM

Compensation: $40,000 per annum

Job Type: Full-time
