Research Assistant - Photo editing - photomontages

Primary Purpose: The research assistant will provide support to Dr. Ana Hidalgo,

Transforming suburban areas: a marketplace for urban ecosystem services research program. The research program includes work related to the following topics: * Urban planning (suburban neighbourhoods)
  • Experimental Design (online experiments)
  • Ecosystem services and healthy cities
Nature of Work:
  • Photo-editing and photomontages for online experiments
  • Writing documents
  • Collaborating with an interdisciplinary research team (urban planning and design, sustainability, economics, forestry and geography).
Typical Duties or Accountabilities: The candidate will be expected to develop photo editing and photomontages of urban landscapes of Canadian Prairies for an online experiment.

Education: Undergraduate student in geography, planning or fine arts.
Experience: Adobe Photoshop or similar software.
Skills: The ideal candidate will be an undergraduate student at USask and has strong written and visual communication skills. Knowledge of Adobe Photoshop software or similar software is imperative. Experience working on photomontages in the urban landscape is considered an asset.

The candidate is expected to work 6 hours per week at the appropriate undergraduate student rate for their current student status. The position will start on May 1st and is expected to end on July 23, 2023
