Kumon North America is looking for an experienced Salesforce Data Consultant with strong technical and data management skills who displays a good understanding of data structure and its relation to business requirement/processes.

This individual should have a strong track record of executing requests focused on the importing, exporting, cleaning, transforming, validating and modeling of data, especially in a MS Excel and Salesforce environment.

The Salesforce Data Consultant will provide analytical support to the Customer Experience Department and other lines of business as required. Using their practiced and documented skills in statistical analysis, they will be tasked with delivering insights to shape business decisions and marketing strategies.

This associate will also provide ongoing support to Customer Experience Department in the development, support, and ongoing maintenance of Kumon’s proprietary CRM software powered by Salesforce.

As Salesforce Data Consultant, this associate must support management with the development and execution of long-term strategies focused on leveraging the CRM software to improve customers’ relationship, retention, and overall satisfaction with the Kumon brand.

This position is a one-year contract with an opportunity for extension.

Duties and Responsibilities

  • Support Customer Experience Department Management with the development, execution, and ongoing maintenance of strategies and initiatives focused on leveraging Kumon’s proprietary CRM software powered by Salesforce (and the cloud-based platforms within it) to improve customer’s relationship, retention, and overall satisfaction with the Kumon brand.
  • Develop and manage data extension and data source creation within Salesforce Marketing Cloud and assist Branding department with the building and management of dynamic content blocks used within automated email journeys
  • Troubleshoot technical issues and complete quality assurance checks related to the Marketing Cloud
  • Experience developing reports/dashboards within Service Cloud and Marketing Cloud to address key business requirements outlined by departments across the Organization
  • Accountable for the execution and processing of data change requests
  • Responsible for the maintenance, administration and support of data elements
  • Support with data validation, quality issues, integrity, accuracy, consistency and work to resolve impacting issues related to data element; de-duplication and cleansing
  • Ensures metadata, reference documentation, data files and data flows are accurate and up to date
  • Work with internal Development Team to create and maintain mappings between fields/objects within Salesforce environment
  • Work closely with Customer Engagement team to define KPIs and track the results of marketing campaigns/promotions, and other marketing activities for the Organization
  • Assist upper management across the Organization with various analyses which may involve confidential information
  • Prepare weekly, monthly, quarterly, and year-end reports (both quantitative & qualitative) as assigned
  • Report metrics to be gathered, combined, maintained and manipulated via both internally constructed reporting sources and through Salesforce environments (clouds)
  • Salesforce admin support: User access administration duties, regular data loads, data validation, etc.
  • Maintain user roles and profiles within Salesforce environment are up to date
  • Define, analyze, develop and deliver dashboards complete with interpretive analysis and recommendations in adherence to provided business requirements
  • Perform special projects as needed
