SAP Development Consultant - BTP

EXPECTATIONS AND TASKS
We are looking for SAP BTP application developer who will be responsible to work on extensions of SAP applications systems using Business Technology Platform (BTP) with a deep understanding of BTP architecture and its services.
- Proven work experience as a cloud developer able to design and implement across all layers of software (UI, Backend, Database)
- Experience in executing POCs to demonstrate SAP's Cloud capabilities and quick value realization
- Hands on experience with SAPUI5 or other Front-end Web Application development frameworks
- Strong knowledge of at least one programming language preferably Node.js or Python (Backend)
- Exposure to databases like SAP HANA Cloud or PostgreSQL with technical skills in SQL (Database)
- Focus on design, coding, testing, quality assurance of complex product features in a development team
- Drive initiatives & topics to resolution in a high level of quality, speed, reliability, and efficiency
- Work closely together with others and share expertise to ensure product success
- Enhance skills beyond own core focus and work on other tasks for the Benefit of the team
- Modeling, design, implementation, and tests based on SAP's programming model
- Ensure high quality (create and execute test cases, reviews of specifications, design reviews, code reviews)
- Fit gap analysis
- 7+ years of SAP consulting experience
- Bachelors or Master's degree in: Information Systems, Engineering, Computer Science or similar degree.
- Experience with SAP Business Technology Platform (BTP) or Cloud Foundry Runtime and knowledge of the capabilities of the platform.
- Hands on development experience with Java, JavaScript/Ui5, Node.js or ABAP.
- Experience with the SAP Extension Suite including services such as Workflow Management, Identity Authentication, Alert Notification, and other Development Efficiency services.
- Knowledge of Side-by-Side extensibility concepts with hands on experience building extensions to SAP LoB solutions.
- Experience with SAP Conversational AI or iRPA is desirable
- Hands on experience with the SAP Business Application Studio
- Experience with the Cloud Application Programming Model (CAP) or the Restful ABAP Programming model (RAP) is desirable

Compensation Range Transparency: SAP believes the value of pay transparency contributes towards an honest and supportive culture and is a significant step toward demonstrating SAP's commitment to pay equity. SAP provides the hourly base salary rate range applicable for the posted role. The targeted range for this position is 66,800 - 152,200 USD.
