SUMMARY:
Reporting to the Director of the HR/Payroll, Finance, and the Master Data Competency Center, the incumbent is responsible for providing the entire corporation, including all its divisions and subsidiaries with an optimal experience by managing the Finance/Data team and supporting the development of its members' skills. In this context, the incumbent is responsible for maximizing the skills and competencies of their team, plans and organizes the execution of the team's operational activities and projects for all business processes supported by the competency center.
SPECIFIC RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Manages the overall activities of the competency center.
- Coaches functional analysts at various levels on their personal development and goal achievement.
- Plans and manages the capacity of team members to deliver projects in the area.
- Leads the production support activities through the follow up of service requests and problem resolutions within the assigned area.
- Collaborates with business teams and IS division teams to ensure effective implementation of solutions by the team.
- Keeps abreast of trends and best practices in delivery and makes suggestions to the manager to improve team efficiency and interventions.
- Prepares individual and team follow-up meetings for the assigned sector.
- Manages the team resources for the assigned sector.
- Prepares and conducts performance evaluations .
- Supports the organization in the identification and development of talent, succession within the team and the maintenance of a high performing team in accordance with the values and pillars of Metro Inc.
- Determines the performance targets for the team and oversees the achievement of these objectives.
- Supports team members toward their career development and the achievement of their objectives.
ELIGIBILITY CRITERIA:
- Bachelor's degree in computer science, administration, or an equivalent field
- Demonstrated experience in SAP project management, particularly FICO (Asset) and MM/Retail
- Experience in personnel management and ability to mobilize a team to achieve objectives
- Very good knowledge of operations management (Support)
- Very good knowledge of critical incident processes and other ITIL-based processes (Asset)
- Ability to write and communicate
- Mastery of project management, business analysis and continuous improvement tools and techniques
- Bilingualism (oral and written) as an asset
- Good understanding and knowledge of SAP and its FICO module (Asset)
