Who You Are:

The iShift P2M Plan to Manufacture & WHM Warehouse Management subject Matter Expert (SME) is the technico-functional referent for the domain. The SME is responsible for the life cycle planning (incident or scope evolution management) of iShift ERP through the phases of strategize, architect, select, deploy, operate, evolve, and retire. It´s key for the SME to be proficient in P2M & WHM business processes and relevant SAP solution together with ERP architectures and integration/interface technologies, not to mention deep knowledge of pharma industry regulatory context (GxP).

The SME iShift P2M Plan to Manufacture & WHM Warehouse Management manages the AMS partner that has specific responsibility for building or configuring, maintaining or enhancing, and eventually decommissioning iShift ERP and external applications connected with iShift ERP through their life cycle. The SME iShift P2M Plan to Manufacture & WHM Warehouse Management is accountable to support the iShift Service Line Manager in his duty to achieve best-in-class internal service levels for giving the proper support to the different iShift ERP Core Model user country communities.

Key Responsibilities:

Sanofi is engaging into a review program for harmonization of its current processes: Finance and Controlling, SBS, Trade, Customer Service, Supply Chain, Manufacturing, Quality, Maintenance, etc. The iShift project is the Digital implementation of these Business Core Models into a Global ERP also considering the corresponding interfaces with the Back-Office and satellite tools. This review and transformation program aims at:

Enabling Global Business Units (GBU) & Global Functions with Analytics & common processes:

Common analytics by GBU and for Global functions to drive their business, analyse their performance and optimize their resources.

Standard Group wide best in class processes aimed at fostering a One Sanofi ways of managing our business and functions.

Embed new ways of analysing markets and business strategies & tactics:

Implementation of benchmarked ways of working from Group affiliates, peers in the industry, and other industries (such as FMCG).

Support new approaches defined for Sanofi growth relays by ensuring that iShift enables a high degree of automation, control and analytics on these innovative approaches.

Facilitate the implementation of a One Sanofi Management for each of the Workstreams in scope through adapted and harmonized processes.

Simplifying processes and Sanofi users’ experience:

State-of-the-art global systems ensuring an end-to-end process integration while providing a simplified user’s experience.

Major changes to reporting or processes handled centrally at once.

One source of truth on master data and a common automated internal control framework.

Improved integration or divestment capabilities through a standardized methodology.

The SME iShift P2M Plan to Manufacture & WHM Warehouse Management:

CORE competencies:

P2M and WHM business processes and relevant SAP solution (relevant modules PP/PIClassic, S4HANA, …).

General knowledge on ERP architectures and integration/interface technologies (EAI, iDoc, WebServices, …).

Knowledge of pharma industry regulatory context (GxP).

Leadership and managerial duties:

Provide leadership, vision, and direction to the AMS partner to ensure it will contribute to the company achieving its goals.

Work with iShift Service Line Manager and iShift ERP Project to keep iShift scope under control and aligned with overall IT and business strategy.

Develop productive relationships with business leaders across the organization to influence how new enhancements can enable new sources of value.

Define and enhance methodologies and practices for the iShift ERP life cycle management in line with best practice and practical experience of continuous improvement.

Ensure that new enhancements and Projects are conducted in line with corporate social responsibility, environmental and technical policies and applicable standards and legislation.

Implement and manage new enhancements and Projects life cycle management status reporting, metrics and benchmarks.

Conduct regular surveys of stakeholder satisfaction with iShift ERP, publish the results and, where necessary, implement action plans to improve satisfaction.

iShift ERP Governance, Strategy and Delivery duties:

Work together with the governance board to define a prioritized set of business rules that new enhancements and Projects must fit to be released for execution in line with the yearly budget.

Facilitate the governance board (new enhancements and Projects) to gain consensus on a prioritized set of measurable business outcomes that applications must support.

Oversee the AMS partner successful delivery of new enhancements and Projects in partnership with business colleagues.

Oversee benefits realization to ensure that business outcomes are achieved.

Oversee development of processes and tools in conjunction with infrastructure and operations to automate the handoff of code releases from AMS partner factory.

Ensure Methodology and deployment expertise for incidents and enhancements, tracking and monitoring all related required deliverables status & quality.

Ensure Core Model alignment, arbitrating when required or escalating to the corresponding Governance group.

Revise workload & estimates for solving incidents and implementing new enhancements based on user requirements.

Ensure related roll-out transition activities from Project Team to AMS team are correct and completed before final Handover from Project team.

Responsible to control that the AMS partner complies to Sanofi policies and standards and industry regulations applicable for information systems, personnel and security.

Conduct service review meetings and service management meetings with the AMS partner.

Control the delivery of the agreed services and measures the agreed SLA´s.

Main Interactions:

Internal: iShift Service Line organization, iShift SD and BE team members and leadership, Local Digital community, Local iShift Business Key Users, Digital Quality and Compliance Expert, Business Quality, levels of support defined at country level for solving incidents and implementing enhancements after Stabilization period of each roll-out.

External: AMS Partner.

Key Requirements:

Higher education (master’s degree) with an orientation in business related fields

9+ years professional experience in Application Management Services or in Program/Project Management of SAP ERP or any other SAP Software.

Strong functional knowledge in Plan to Manufacture and WHM, preferable on Pharma sector.

Proven experience to deploy SAP PP/PI module to meet business strategy across functional teams and writing the technical documentation for Production and Inventory Management.

Experience of implementing large transformation program via IT.

Good Knowledge of the IT Service Management processes.

Proficient in Application Management Methodologies and IT Governance.

Have a good track record in a pharmaceutical industry.

Analytical and summarization skills.

Strong communication and problem-solving skills, ability to defend the Core Model position.

Proven experience in successfully leading a team in the management of vendors/third parties, including, but not limited to, policies, performance, vendor risk, relationships, and issue and dispute resolution.

Strong communication skills with a proven ability to understand key concepts and communicate effectively with technical staff, business stakeholders and senior management.

Proven ability to communicate technical concepts to nontechnical people to enhance understanding and drive decisions that lead to positive outcomes.

Proven ability to collaborate, build relationships and influence individuals at all levels in a matrix-management environment (as well as external vendors and service providers) to ensure that segregation and overlapping roles are identified and coordinated.

Strong organizational skills, the ability to perform under pressure and management of multiple priorities with competing demands for resources.

Strong analytical, data-processing, and problem-solving skills.

Proficiency in process formulation and improvement.
