Position Title: Packer

Location: Richmond, BC, V6V 3C8

Rate of Pay: Starting minimum $18.00/hour

Job Type: Full Time Permanent

Position Summary:

Reporting to the production manager, or designate, the Packer will be responsible for securely and safely packaging products for storage and shipping.

Key Responsibilities:

• Verifying the quality of the product before packaging.
• Verifying the product and properly labelling and packaging the item for retail, or wholesale.
• Ensuring proper production and expiry dates are applied to the packaging.
• Verifying products are up to count and weight specifications.
• Ensure packaging is airtight with no defects.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of areas.
• Additional duties as assigned.

Qualifications and Skills:

• Willingness to work in a cold environment.
• Must be able to lift to 50 lbs.
• Ability to fluently read, write, and speak in English.
• Valid Forklift License would be considered an asset.
• Ability to operate hand and electric pallet jacks would be considered an asset.
• Previous work experience is an asset but not required.
• Attention to detail.
• Commitment to safety standards and practices.
