To develop new business and foster client relationships for import and export cargo for both consolidation and full container & LCL services, air, trucking, while maintaining close communication with clients to ensure ongoing support.
You will be expected to visit clients in the province of Ontario to discuss our services, offer
assistance, prepare quotations, and cultivate strong relationships to foster a feeling of partnership between clients. You will follow up with clients on the status of quotations and offer assistance in resolving any client disputes that may develop with agents, or third-party service providers.
In addition to the above you will be expected to monitor business volumes to ensure existing levels from clients are maintained. Close communication with operations personnel and overseas agents will be essential. You will be expected to generate new business and increase sales volumes based on pre-determined target levels.
You are expected to attend industry functions in the marketplace and increase our exposure to potential clients. You will be responsible for the successful performance of the regional office as it relates to annual volume projections in both import and export consolidation services.
You will work with operations to ensure that we maintain high performance standards and focus on continuous improvement while being committed to providing exceptional customer service.
