Office of Development and Alumni Engagement
(One Year Contractual Position)

DUTIES
Reporting to Administrative Staff Specialist II the successful applicant will be responsible for performing complex and difficult work requiring the exercise of considerable independent judgment. Duties include preparing purchase orders, direct pay forms, journal vouchers, invoices, and other forms; coordinating procurement card purchases and reconciliations; sending donation receipts via mail; maintaining a spreadsheet of office equipment (laptops, printers, computers etc); maintaining inventory of supplies and organizing the storage area; processing employment and payroll documents for student employees; keying hours for student employees; providing administrative support to the Advancement Services unit; and performing other related duties as required.

QUALIFICATIONS
Experience (3-5 years) in moderately difficult and varied clerical work; completion of a 2-year program in office administration supplemented by courses in business education; or any equivalent combination of experience and training. Demonstrated attention to detail and sound judgement is required for this position. Experience working with financial databases and Microsoft Office is a requirement. Knowledge of university policy and procedures, Raisers Edge NXT and Banner 9 finance are considered assets.

SALARY $48,341 - $56,707 per annum (CUPE Local 1615)
