We're also looking at what's next for you and how we can help you build a career you're proud of. This exciting new opportunity as a Senior Cybersecurity Analyst is in the Cybersecurity team of Enterprise Intelligence & Security. The team is expanding PCL’s security program and you will play a key role in developing, implementing, and supporting those initiatives. Reporting to the Cybersecurity Manager, and working with the larger security team, you will participate in vulnerability management, penetration testing, security architecture and other security projects.
Here's how a Senior Cybersecurity Analyst for our North American Headquarters district office located in Edmonton, Alberta, contributes to our team:
Responsibilities
-Conducts penetration testing to identify system and application vulnerabilities.
-Collaborates with development, infrastructure, cloud, and cybersecurity teams to implement security at the design phase.
-Monitors security systems for irregularities and potential threats.
-Responds swiftly to security breaches and participate in post-event analyses.
-Stays abreast of the latest cybersecurity trends and threat intelligence.
-Provides training and guidance to staff on cybersecurity best practices.
 
Qualifications
-Knowledge of authentication, authorization, and access principles.
-Understanding of traditional infrastructure and cloud-based systems as they relate to cybersecurity.
-Experience securing and exploiting Microsoft products, including Active Directory, Entra, Windows, and Azure.
-Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field. Advanced degree or certifications (e.g., CISSP, OSCP) are a plus.
-Minimum of 5 years of experience in cybersecurity, with a focus on penetration testing, network security, and secure application and infrastructure design and development.
