Department: Everyday Financial Services - Client Care (Client Care is ATB's official Contact Centre serving Albertans)

  • Shifts are based on a 6-week rotation Monday to Friday between 8:30AM - 7:45PM, with every third Saturday 9:00AM - 5:00PM

Location: Alberta (This is a hybrid role that will require some in-office activities) #LI-Hybrid

Compensation: G-PFS to H-PFS depending on experience

The Role

Our customers value advisors who engage in conversation, ask open-ended questions, and actively listen with acknowledgement and empathy. As one of our senior level Everyday Banking Advisors, you are obsessed with providing WOW experiences for customers and always doing the right thing. That means going beyond the transaction, and truly getting to know the unique story of the person on the other end of the phone. You are a problem-solver, hungry to find innovative solutions for your customers' challenges. You will be supporting Albertans through inbound calls which could include day-to-day banking products, investments, credit products or mortgages.

Banking is serious stuff, and engaging with customers over the phone isn't for everyone, but we're not worried. You have previous client facing or contact centre experience under your belt or you're excited to transfer your skills and feel confident that this role is a fit for you, given its unique challenges.

Requirements

  • Client-obsessed personality: you thrive on making great things possible for your clients, team members, Albertans, and beyond
  • Intermediate understanding of Canadian Banking: be it managing your own finances, working in another financial institution or in a fast-paced client facing environment, our broad range of opportunities can align to your experience
  • Understanding of banking products such as: chequing and savings accounts, credit products, investments and mortgages.
  • Driven to perform: you have an innate drive for high performance and meeting organizational goals
  • Champion of belonging: you embrace the values of diversity & inclusion, and champion the idea that our differences are our strengths
  • 3-5 years experience providing exceptional customer service in a professional work environment with a proven track record of success
