Job Description
What is the opportunity?
RBC is upgrading our HR ServiceNow platform to improve our current HR Service Delivery infrastructure – target completion date of July 2023. You are responsible for the ongoing operations and enhancement of HR ServiceNow ensuring that our platform continues to improve our operating efficiency and delivers a positive user experience. You will function as the lead for this product and this will include supporting and sustaining the configuration of HR ServiceNow by working closely with business partners HR and Technology. The successful candidate must be able to foster positive relationships, be solution oriented and have a keen attention to detail. As a subject matter expert, you will be responsible for staying up to date with best practices and ServiceNow enhancements and roadmap.
What will you do?
- Take part in HR ServiceNow upgrade and post upgrade activities Contribute to the on-going design and enhancement of HR ServiceNow to reflect RBC HR’s Service Delivery requirements
- Provide technical leadership, advice and counsel as a HR ServiceNow subject matter expert on HR Service Delivery
- Engage with HR Centres of Expertise, Technology and key stakeholders to gather and clarify business requirements, and translate these into system configurations
- Actively seek the identification of issues, escalate and manage resolutions by collaborating with business partners and other members of the HR Digital Solutions and Technology
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with subject matter experts in various areas of HR and Technology
Must-have:
- 5+ years’ experience with ServiceNow configuration and technical product management
- Strong understanding of end-to-end HR Service Delivery
- Strong problem solving, collaboration and consultation skills to pull on various parts of RBC to achieve project outcomes
- Post-secondary diploma or degree in a business-related discipline or equivalent job experience
- Processes, organizational hierarchies, employee data management and downstream system impacts
- Ability to interact with business partners at all levels of the organization to collect and document business requirements
- Must be self-directed and capable of working with minimum supervision
- Ability to take ownership of duties and work under tight deadlines, multiple priorities and a heavy work load
- Experience in financial services industry
- 3-5 years of related Human Resources experience within a corporate HR environment
