As a key member of the Supply Chain Leadership team, you are a strategic leader, your mantra is “Safety,” and your goal is targeting enhancements to improve efficiencies and service levels provided by the Supply Chain Management Department at BC Ferries to a variety of stakeholders across the organization.
You develop and implement strategic and tactical plans for the procurements of good and services critical to the company’s ability to meet its business objectives. You provide strong leadership and implement procurement strategies consistent with business plans with robust category management and advanced procurement across a broad range of goods and services. You posses great judgement and decision making skills, manage stress well through effective time management and are self-motivated.
You have a post-secondary or university degree in Business, Supply Management or other related field. You also have 5 - 10 years of progressive experience in Supply Chain or other related management position. You have SCMP, ISM or equivalent education and training coupled with experience working in a unionized environment.
