ROLE SUMMARY:
Reporting into the VP., People the Sr. Manager Rewards and Employee Experience will work closely with the Zone Rewards team, People Centers of Excellence (COE) and People Business Partners (PBPs) to deliver integrated solutions that focus on Moments that Matter to all Labatt’s employees across Canada.
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:
  • Lead a team of specialists to deliver on Total Rewards: Pension, benefits, compensation, wellness.
  • Be passionate about communicating impactful messages that resonate with employees across a large, matrixed organization
  • Move quickly and feel comfortable leading major projects within a large but flat organization
  • Manage various vendor relationships as required.
  • Oversee the execution of required compliance activities and governmental, including working with internal and external auditors to ensure compliance and execution of appropriate control activities.
  • Work closely with Senior Leadership and People, Finance functions to build and maintain appropriate budget-tracking/reporting.
  • Serve as escalation point of contact for Total Rewards employee matters.
  • Partner with the COE and PBPs to understand and identify gaps in the employee experience – use strong analytical skills to propose solutions that connect back to the business needs
  • Partner with vendors and stay informed and current on local laws, as well as legislative changes impacting employee benefits and proactively manage processes and programs to remain compliant.
  • Partner with Zone Rewards and internal communications to execute a dynamic employee communication strategy that supports the engagement plan and ensures key People Rewards messages are communicated and getting through the organization
JOB QUALIFICATIONS:
  • Bachelor's degree in human resources, business administration, or related field.
  • 6+ years of relevant experience ideally in a unionized setting
  • Business acumen, collaboration, and client-focused mentality to develop and strengthen business relationships
  • Ability to influence, drive decisions and lead discussions utilizing data
  • Significant judgement and maturity in dealing with highly sensitive and confidential information
  • Ability to work well under the pressure of deadlines, unpredictability and on multiple priorities
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills; group presentation skills
