The team:
Our Tangerine IT Department’s ServiceNow team supports development and the administration of the enterprise ServiceNow platform, which is essential to our IT Service Management (ITSM) & IT Operations Management (ITOM) processes.
The role:
Reporting to the Senior Manager, IT Frontline Support & ITSM Platform, you are responsible for hands-on support of both day-to-day continuing development and administrative support of the Tangerine ServiceNow platform including initiatives on the configuration, administration, implementation, and maintenance specific to Tangerine's ITSM modules, Configuration Management Database (CMDB), and integrations within the ServiceNow platform.
Your work priority will be to extract and maximise business value by providing solutions that best fit the business (i.e., leveraging out of box versus heavy customization).
And you will champion a customer focused culture to deepen client relationships and leverage broader Bank relationships, systems, and knowledge.
We operate in a hybrid work environment. When required, there will be occasions for infrequent onsite work at our North York office location.
In this role, circumstances may arise where you will need flexibility to work extended working hours in the evenings and/or weekend & when required, be on-call.

have a passion for everything to do with ServiceNow and thrive on providing a great customer experience and user intuitive designs and enjoy providing improvements and recommendations on existing processes and tools.
-You excel at solution design including defining and documenting the structure, connections, and relationships of systems to help support building out integrations or technical documentation.
-You get a deep satisfaction in applying your troubleshooting and root cause analysis to address bugs or finding workarounds or other methods to solve problems.
-You thrive under pressure and with multiple tasks to meet tight deadlines, independently, as part of a team, and on projects using Agile or Waterfall methodologies.
-You take pride to help provide standards and guidelines to less senior developers and other parties that may also be providing you with code, including code reviews where applicable.
 
Do you have the skills that will enable you to succeed in this role?
-You possess excellent communication (verbal/written) skills to convey technical information to both technical peers and business stakeholders.  Furthermore, you also have good interpersonal skills to build relationships with internal and external business partners and vendors.
-You can demonstrate hands-on technical experience with at least 1 instance in the systems design of ServiceNow applications.
-You have least 4+ years of hands-on technical working experience
as a ServiceNow Developer in a medium and/or large enterprise organization
.
-You also have least 2+ years of hands-on technical working experience as a ServiceNow Administrator in a medium and/or large enterprise organization.
-You can demonstrate
hands-on technical working experience in the administration of both the Configuration Management Database (CMDB)
& Discovery.
-You can demonstrate strong technical experience & knowledge of integrations on the ServiceNow Platform, consisting of either RESTful API’s and/or SOAP and/or Integration Hub and/or workflows, etc…
-You possess good time management skills to succeed with shifting priorities over multiple assignments on projects/programs.
-You have the ability to do research & development of new ways to leverage the ServiceNow platform.
-Familiarity with Flexera's Data Platform & Technopedia offerings; as well as experience with the Cloud Discovery (GCP/Anthos) in ServiceNow and/or the Service Graph Connector in ServiceNow are assets.
-Completion of a post-secondary education in Computer Science or related technology field.
-Completion of ITIL Foundation v.3 and/or v.4 certification +
ServiceNow Certified System Administrator
.
-ServiceNow Scripting certification or training is an asset.
