Aversan Inc. (www.aversan.com) is a reputable Engineering Company that provides expertise in Systems Integration and Software Testing for industries including Digital Health, Medical Devices, IT and Aerospace. We are currently seeking a qualified Senior Supply Chain Manager to work on leading-edge technology. The successful candidate for this position will be a part of a highly motivated and highly technical work environment that feeds off the collective energy of a team-oriented workplace.

Location: Mississauga, ON (On-site)
Responsibilities
Enable partnerships and gain support from internal stakeholders on assigned projects
Knowledgeable in the process of preparation of material (Schematic, Design Description, Accuracy Analysis, etc.) for design reviews (DDR, PDR. CDR, etc.) as required.
Have an advanced understanding of the current supply base, markets, capabilities, other customers and geographical reach, trends, and dynamics of the marketplace.
Develops a strategy based on market insight. Purchase within established limits and guidelines.
Negotiate with the current supply base, and markets for purchasing criteria such as cost, quality, and service for new components.
Familiar with Component obsolescence database control and management.
Familiar with Root Cause Analysis of component failures.
Identify and manage all risks that could affect a component’s lead time.
Assist the engineering department in sourcing and selecting components for various projects.
Builds a network of internal relationships across business segments. Interact with suppliers to resolve issues and identify gaps where potential opportunities for savings exist.
Leads meetings/ workshops with key customers and business stakeholders to explore findings and explore ideas for opportunities.
Basic Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Electrical/Computer Engineering or equivalent.
A minimum of 10 years’ supply chain experience in an electronics manufacturing environment.
A minimum of 6 years of experience in Hardware component management.
Strong technical knowledge of electronic and electromechanical components.
Exceptional understanding of engineering documents (e.g., schematics, component data sheets, Gerber files) and document control practices (viz. MCOs, ECRs, ECOs, deviations).
Experience with inventory management tools and processes.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Nice to Have
Experience working in an AS9100 organization.
Experience knowledge in electronic circuit design and development in embedded systems.
Experience creating and implementing processes and systems within supply chain management.
