The Canadian Forces Morale and Welfare Services (CFMWS) supports the Canadian Armed Forces members and their families wherever they are in the world through the provision of fitness, recreation and leisure activities, family and charitable support, retail as well as personal financial services. We offer our employees the opportunity to work with a purpose every day in an inclusive, healthy, respectful and rewarding work environment.
THE ROLEDo you truly believe in the Power of Sports? You’re educated, talented and highly motivated? There’s nothing greater than the challenge of supporting those who serve, members of the Canadian Armed Forces, in a team where dedication goes beyond the game.
Sports is critical to ensuring our military members’ physical and mental wellness. As a Sports Coordinator, your competencies will be used towards the planning and the coordination of the operations and delivery of sports programs in your location. This includes both intramural sports and competitive representative sports teams that compete nationally and internationally in such sports as hockey, volleyball, soccer, rugby, running, swimming, triathlon and basketball. On a daily basis, you will be involved in the organization, coaching, and officiating of sports, clinics and training camps. You will also use your expertise to monitor, evaluate and recommend improvements to the sports programs.
