Responsibilities:
- Acts as first point of contact for any calls/emails received regarding illness and absence from work and communicate accordingly to the right department/ managers
- Receives requests regarding shift changes, vacations, sick leaves, leaves of absence and termination and adjust accordingly to the collective agreement
- Updates and maintains staff scheduling system - COMVIDA
- Maintains timekeeping records for regular and contract staffs and work closely with the payroll team to ensure correct payments are made
- Other administrative tasks including data entry, filing and record keeping
Qualifications:
- Minimum of 1 year of previous Staffing experience within a similar capacity (nonprofit & healthcare)
- Previous experience working in an unionized environment & good understanding of Collective Agreement is a must
- COMVIDA Software experience considered an asset
