Staffing Clerk

Meaningful work. Building Relationships. Making a difference. Our Client within the Healthcare/Non-profit industry is looking for an experienced Staffing Clerk to join their team. Responsibilities:

• Acts as first point of contact for any calls/emails received regarding illness and absence from work and communicate accordingly to the right department/ managers
• Receives requests regarding shift changes, vacations, sick leaves, leaves of absence and termination and adjust accordingly to the collective agreement
• Updates and maintains staff scheduling system - COMVIDA
• Maintains timekeeping records for regular and contract staffs and work closely with the payroll team to ensure correct payments are made
• Other administrative tasks including data entry, filing and record keeping

Requirements

Qualifications:

• Minimum of 1 year of previous Staffing experience within a similar capacity (nonprofit & healthcare)
• Previous experience working in an unionized environment & good understanding of Collective Agreement is a must
• COMVIDA Software experience considered an asset
