Blind Channel Resort is a self-contained marina/resort on West Thurlow Island, about 50Km north of Campbell River. Our guests are boaters and other summer travelers, for whom we provide moorage, onshore services, shopping, and a fine dining restaurant.
Our general store is where we greet the guests and sign them in. The Storekeeper/Manager's job is to make the guests feel welcome, provide them with information, and help them find what they are looking for. Our store features a wide variety of merchandise from groceries and liquor to clothing, giftware, books, fishing gear, and more. The person in this role should be versatile and will at times be called upon to help out with other jobs around the resort.
The ideal candidate for this job should be:

-efficient, organized
-energetic, versatile
-quick and accurate with numbers
-calm under pressure
-at least 19 years of age
Some retail experience or knowledge would be an asset.
This is a live-in job for July and August. Accommodations with private room will be provided

Salary: $22.00 per hour
Expected hours: 40 – 50 per week
