Responsibilities:
- Conduct land surveys and measurements using various surveying equipment and techniques
- Collect and analyze data to determine boundaries, elevations, and other topographical features
- Prepare detailed survey reports, maps, and drawings using GIS (Geographic Information System) software
- Collaborate with engineers, architects, and construction teams to ensure accurate surveying for project planning and development
- Manage surveying projects from start to finish data collection
- Maintain and update survey records, databases, and documentation for future reference
-Manage Fleet of Topcon equipment
-Create surface files, alignments as required for crews
Experience:
- Minimum of 2 years of experience as a Surveyor or related field
- Proficiency in GIS software for data management and analysis, Topcon experience a huge asset
- Strong knowledge of surveying principles, techniques, and equipment operation
- Experience with CAD (Computer-Aided Design) software such as AutoCAD for map creation and design
- Ability to interpret construction plans, blueprints, and legal descriptions
- Excellent attention to detail and accuracy in measurements and calculations
- Strong communication skills to effectively collaborate with team members and clients
