Job Overview
We are seeking a detail-oriented and organized individual for a short-term role as Administrative Support to assist in building a comprehensive inventory of all chemicals within our facility. The successful candidate will be responsible for gathering information throughout the plant and compiling it into a spreadsheet. This temporary position is expected to last approximately 1 month.
Responsibilities
Chemical Inventory Compilation:
- Conduct physical walks throughout the plant to identify and document all chemicals.
- Collect accurate information on each chemical, including names, quantities, locations, and safety data.
Data Entry and Spreadsheet Management:
- Utilize computer skills, particularly in excel, to input gathered information into a structure spreadsheet.
- Ensure data accuracy and consistency throughout the compilation process.
Communication:
- Collaborate with various departments to gather relevant information.
- Provide clear and concise updates on progress to the supervisor.
Documentation and Record Keeping:
- Organize and maintain records of collected chemical data.
- Ensure that all documentation is stored securely and is easily accessible for future reference.
Adherence to Safety Guidelines:
- Follow safety protocols and guidelines when handline and documenting chemicals.
- Report any safety concerns or incidents promptly.
