Description

1. Opens and closes the office, this includes unlocking vault, checking cash drawer, unlocking/locking front door, including noon hour.
2. Types office correspondence as requested.  Files materials and maintains an up-to-date filing system.
3. Waits on customers, collects money and issues computer receipts.  Prepares bank deposit and deposits in night deposit.
4. Handles telephone and counter inquiries and directs them to the appropriate staff.  Writes necessary work orders to the proper department.
5. Takes requests for water connections and disconnections.   Does billing for water deposits.
6. General office duties such as mail, picking up and ordering of basic office supplies.
7. Maintains utility, tax and accounts receivable control logs.
8. Types various reports and minutes as requested.  
9. Works with the All-Net system in compiling meeting packages, sending out meeting packages, completing the minutes and sending out same.
10. Maintains bylaw, agreement and minutes books on a regular basis.
11. Organizes the opening and closing of graves in the Wilkie & District Cemetery and maintains all necessary records.
12. Assists in maintaining accounts receivable, sending out bills and calculating interest.
13. Promotes good public relations.
14. Performs other related duties as requested by supervisor and assists all managers when requested.
